His latest period gangster drama, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups, directed by Geetu Mohandas, continued its strong hold at the box office on Saturday as well, taking the total net collection of the film to 190 – 191 crore! The film performed very strongly on its first Saturday!
Yash Surpasses KGF: Chapter 1
In doing so, Yash has officially dethroned his own pathbreaking classic KGF: Chapter 1. The blockbuster franchise film earned a total of 185.24 crore net collection in India and earned the fourth spot in the list of the top 5 highest-grossing Kannada films!
Toxic Box Office Day 4 Estimates
As per early trends, on day 4, Saturday, August 29, Toxic earned in the range of 24 – 25 crore net collection in India. It registered an occupancy of almost 24.3% for over 17,000 shows in India on Saturday! The gangster drama is now the 4th Highest-Grossing Kannada Film of All Time in India.

Yash’s 2nd 200 Crore Film!
Yash now stands less than 10 crore away from the monumental 200 crore benchmark in India. After KGF Chapter 2, it will be his second 200 crore film in India! After navigating a standard working Saturday, the film is expected to pick up at a massive speed on Sunday!
Interestingly, Toxic will be the 4th Kananda film to score a double century at the box office after Kantara, KGF: Chapter 2, and Kantara: Chapter 1.
