In its opening weekend, Crew had taken a flying start of 10.28 crores, and then had stayed in double digits right through Saturday and Sunday as well. On Monday, the film stood at 4.52 crores, which means it fell a just short of the 5 crores mark. Now in its second weekend, the film has not just managed to hit that 5 crores mark all over again, what with 5.40 crores coming on Saturday, and then Sunday too bringing on 5.50 crores*.
As a result, the film has now also crossed the 60 crores mark and currently stands at 62.28 crores*. That’s an average of more than 6 crores for 10 days ever since the film has been playing in theatres. There would be a drop in collections today though and could well be around 50% of Friday which was aided by BOGO. As a result, around 1.50-1.75 crores more is on the cards and that would be the case tomorrow as well.
By the close of the second week, this Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kriti Sanon starrer will not just cross the 65 crores mark but then add a couple of more crores as well. From there the journey would begin for the next 10 crores that it gathers. Once that turns out to be the case, a good milestone of 75 crores would have been accomplished and whatever that comes in post that would be an added bonus.
